Set Your Mind

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God (Col 3:1-3).

How is that for a New Year's resolution? It certainly ought to give you pause as you worship or go about your everyday life. It ought to change how we think about church and how we think about politics and how we think about the economy and how we think about family. It certainly ought to rearrange our priorities, especially on a Sunday morning. Oh, I don't know ... it seems to me that it ought to change our entire worldview. What do you think?
