Hate Support
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has long been a far-left anti-hate group. (I call it far-left because it went way too far in defining "hate," including,, for instance, those who disagree with the LGBT views.) Now they've been indicted for funneling over $3 million ... to hate groups. They appear to have been supporting neo-Nazis and KKK groups. It appears there are more indictments to come. This could get ugly ... or uglier. Even the Left is concerned.
More Hate
A group of teens across a few states were plotting to "kill as many Jews as possible" at a synagogue in Houston. The plot has been interrupted and some (not all, apparently) are in custody. The authorities speculate that the motive was to make a statement in favor of Hamas as anti-Jewish attacks are on the increase of late. It's the price we pay for "freedom of speech" when we don't stop this kind of hate and the media publicly encourages outrage against Israel. Of course, I'm pretty sure none of the Jews in that synagogue in Houston are fighting Hamas or the Palestinians, but we're really good at generalizing those we hate. To get to this level of hate at this age also makes me wonder, "Where are the parents?"
Another One Bites the Dust
A popular "healthy" sugar substitute is erythritol. Considered safest for some time, a recent study suggests it can increase stroke and heart attack risks as well as possible brain damage. If you're on a diet and want to have your cake and eat it too, you might want to be careful. We "trust the science" way too much and suffer the "unintended consequences" way too often and it's so often simply in order to satisfy our desires.
Terrorism?
Depending on your source, there are reports of anywhere from 10-13 dead or missing scientists worldwide, experts in advanced space, defense, and nuclear fields. We hold our collective breath and I feel another conspiracy coming on ... no ... not that one. The wife of one says, "He retired 10 years ago." NASA says, "There's no evidence of an attack." The FBI sees no confirmed pattern. I'm seeing another "crisis" to generate panic among the masses from the media. Too many see danger. I see media terrorists at work.
Your Best Source for Fake News
Following the whole SPLC debacle, the Bee discovered new evidence that Judas Iscariot received his 30 pieces of silver from the SPLC. Tempting to consider. Then, in response to the accusations against them, the SPLC says that funding for the KKK is only 3% of what they do. Wait ... I've heard something like that elsewhere before. In political news, California Governor Gavin Newsom has finally admitted he doesn't actually want to be president ... he just wants to join the California Exodus and leave California. Who can blame him?
Must be true; I read it on the internet.
