For My Daughter

This is for my daughter whose birthday is Christmas Day and for all the rest of you who share the same fate ...

  1. My paternal Grandparents got married on Christmas day. Had to celebrate their anniversaries on Christmas!

  2. I wonder why they would do that? Well, I suppose, "Everyone's here! Let's do this" might work. But it doesn't work as well for line where Jesus's birthday is celebrated on the same day as someone else's.

  3. I think it was because in 1911 their families were living way out in the boondocks of central Ohio, and probably Christmas was the one time everyone was together.

  5. My daughter's birthday is Nov. 24, so this year it again fell on Thanksgiving. (My baby girl is 21 now!!!)

A very Happy Birthday to your daughter!
